so where else snowed today? not manchester. the snow was fucking pathetic. it wasnt much different to the usual spits and piss from the sky really. was wayyyyyyy colder though. it was freezing, even in the lecture hall. and i was wearing 4 layers of clothing. wtf really.

can you believe i went to watch the derby game yesterday? we were out in the bloody coldass weather for 5 and half hours. i dont know how that happened really. it was noon when we reached city stadium and my toes were already numb from the cold. boohoo.

its about time for me to blog again!!!=)
hows everyoneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!miss u all!
well semester 2 is officially over for me since last friday!its been such a hectic week...but its overrr!!muahahahha!hopefully ive done enough for my final folio...haii..pretty rushed for everyone!
but alls good!...wen i went back to studio in uni after staying at home for a whole week...the ppl who worked in uni totally messed up the studio!!haha...the floor was just COVERED in cardboard n tape n bits of paper everywhereeee!too bad i din manage to get a pic of it!
but im lucky to hav the space at home to work at home n get few hours of sleep evryday instead of staying in uni without sleep thru the end of the week like most of my frens!i dunno how u guys can go with 2days without sleep..myb i can if i stay in uni cos i hav no choice...haha...but at home the couch n bed is just waiting for u!!ive ony stayed ovr in uni once finishing my digital design assignment!that wasnt nice.....but fun in a way cos all ur frens r there with u...but we all looked like zombies!hahaha

EEE IM JEALOUS LA! YOU WENT TO THE JEWISH MUSEUM!! I know what you mean about not being good enough. I saw the Year 3 students and their work is so amazing. I dont know if i can do it. So friking philospohical man. I like black and white. I dont know, but in a sense, being philospohical is easy, you can make anything abstract up, give a reason and youre okay. I just dony now if my abstract ideas are good enough you know. I cant come up with one amazing idea, it comes like once a year or something.

Anyhoos. Im waiting here for my tutor, absolutely knackered to my knickers. Went out last night, with BRUNEI PEOPLE WOOOHOOO. It feels good man. You have no idea how ive been feeling for the past year going out with Hongkies and not really having fun, cause i dont speak canto. But nah the people i went out with last night were very sporting. Theres Des T, Mandy! you guys remember her! ERIC! the guy from pri 3 who said if i didnt have cake he wudnt come to my party. Then theres Anthony! remember the guy who came to JIS in yr 10 or 11 for a week. then he left ya, turns out hes here too! and met more people. Ah it was just good fun. YEAR 2 IS GOING TO BE GOOD.

As for where im living right now, in a house, with Serena and Eva and this scottish guy. I honestly, really, dislike living with him. It just pisses me off when i see food stuck on the sink. Its not like rice, its meat man. ARGH.

I really want you guys to come to Notts la, :( for my bday. 7th of Nov is a weekend mannn. But i plan to go church. But the 8th of Nov MANNN :P NMS GAMES WEEHEE. Also i want ribs! :)

life is good here in little old cardiff, the weather is still pretty decent. all the trees are going orangey as it's autumn now which is really nice :) i've moved into a new house with 4 other fellow architects and so far so good, no major arguments or horror stories (yet!). altho i think in the future there may be some problems between me and this other guy because he uses up way too much electricity - he's got a TV which he watches while he does his work, because he says 'the voices from the TV keep him company' :p sheesh...and he has to wash his towels separately from the rest of his clothes, and he turns up the heating in his room...bleh. >:( we'll see. other than that, i love my house hehehe its so much closer to studio than my old uni halls!
i miss brunei though, and my family... and i miss driving haha. cardiff is nice in its own way, but brunei is home. and architecture is REALLY HARD!!!!! :@ haha! but i do love it despite the long nights. i just dont know if i'll ever be able to be a really good architect - there's so much to learn :S

ITS ME! =O hahaha well i have an exam tmr.. so im really procrastinating.. procrastinating so much that im ACTUALLY blogging.. for the first time ever i think!
anyway.. I CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU GUYS! i dunno if you would be interested in anything going on in my life right now.. it's all pretty boring.. except i got a new tv.. BUT other than tht life is good here! enjoying uni surprisingly.. n got some good friends over here who i'll tell you bout when i get back.. they a funny bunch of ppl really.. but still i can't wait to come home and see all of you guys!!!! and yea i talk about u guys all the time with my friends.. told them bout the time when someone kicked the switch thingy in school n it flew up n hit the light =P N NIK RAN AWAY! hahaha they think she's really funny..

anyway so here is a list of things I WANNA DO!

- DRIVE! and get everywhere in 10 minutes. though i shouldn't complain since most of my friends take 1-2 hours to get to uni, where as i only take like 20 minutes.
- eat NASI KATOK THT COST 70 cents!! here nasi lemak costs 10AUD n its crap! its 10 AUD for rice, sambal n cucumber n the ikan bilis.. n every chicken wing you want you add 1.50AUD! though i guess i shouldn't complain since UK food is exp too.. but then again u guys probly figured out how to eat cheaply by now i hope!
- WATCH MOVIES! at the cheap cinema! =) here it costs likeee $15AUD per person x_x quite expensive..
- go to the beach.. REAL BEACH! i went to see the beach over here.. not bondi tho.. i went to bondi as well but not near the water or anything.. but the beach i walked on was like.. ROCKS! there was no sand! it was rocks n water.. n its apparently quite a popular beach called coogee.. pronouced.. coo-jee.. kinda cute.. theres a lot of cutely named places here.. the hardest one to spell is probly woolloomoolloo.. i don't know if that's right.. but yea..
- see my roger of course! but don worry nik he will be very busy so i have time for you! =) n whoever else wants to spend time wif me <=(...
- GO TO MIRI! jus for fun.. n shopping.. well roger said its very dangerous there now.. but for a day trip or overnight should be alright??
- LET NOBBY DRIVE ME! let me be the first okei! =) I SHOTGUN! IM FIRST! in yo face nik!

ergh i need a break from revision..so im going to blog for a bit :) inspired by con - my no.1 blogging partner eh eh?? :D

it's been getting extremely hot here in the uk - 20 degrees and above each day now. im actually sweating now :S i dont know if i'll be able to cope with brunei heat when i go back!
i've been a lot more relaxed these past few weeks cuz the project we're doing now is worth less marks, kind of a relaxing project to end the year..
pics from a picnic and boating and bowling about 3 weeks ago. or was it four weeks ago? :the other boat...the loser boat :Dglowing a bit in the blacklight at the bowling centre.. i wore white shorts as well :S
about 2 weeks ago went to llanfyllin (mid-wales) as part of my current project. it was full of rolling hills and valleys and the air was really clean.... :)more sheep than people i swear..
the inside of our cottage - which wasn't really a traditional cottage as it had a flat-screen tv and good heating etc etc :)the dam at lake vyrnwy - stupid name eh. welsh names are impossible to spell/pronounce x_xour project - the llanfyllin workhouse.i'm not short..i was slouching. and theyre just insanely tall :(

last night it rained really really heavily and there was loads of thunder and lightning :) went outside and jumped about in the rain and got soaked! ha. gone a bit mad. my mum would kill me. almost as heavy as brunei rain....speakin of brunei i should be back by june 17thish i think. :) when are u all going back?? must let me drive u around ok? :D woop woop!

ok, a number of "important" events have happened since i last blogged...(actualli to tell you the truth, i cant rememeber what i last blogged about!) hahaha

but ok...ahhh during the easter hols, yes, my mum came to the UK so then I went on a mother daughter bonding trip to Paris!!! and then spent a few days in London doing what we girls do best! SHOPPING! hahhaha

oh since i got back from brunei...they've been loadsa society elections so far and i'm pleased to announce that I am the treasurer for MSA (Malaysian Students Association)for the 2008/2009 academic year! =D you guys might be thinking right? finally this girl only realise that shes not bruneaian and that shes now accepting the fact that shes malaysian! =p hahaha well yeah, i tried running for the bruwick committee member but because im already going to be the treasurer for MSA...i kinda knew i wasnt gonna be able to get the VP post for Bruwick =( nvm then...i guess im officially a Malaysian property now!

OH......i need to tell you all something that is ossummus possumus!!! I, Connie Lau, went to watch the BACKSTREETBOYS yesterday! yup, thats right, u read it correctly, the BACKSTREET BOYS!!!! hahahha it was so ossum i tell you...I've fallen in LOVE with them all over again! sighhhhhhhh....*blush blush*...it was fantabulously awesummm i tell you! =D=D=D and now...their poster is up on my wall!!! it was sooooo funnn...yesh it was my first concert, so im no longer a concert virgin =p hahaha and yes, my voice is croaky now, i got a sore throat and my legs and body are aching all over from jumping and dancing around! it was the most awesommest thing i tell you! and the opening act....*phewwiitttt* that guy..if i remembered his name correctly george marzuka?? something like that...but all that matters is that his body is HAWT HAWT HAWT!!! so yummy!!!! hahahaha

ok enough of all this..but yes...now back to reality...exams are coming up in less than 3 weeks and i haven started revising properly...im still taking day offs! HAHHAAH ok ok...til here...and yes more pictures will be posted from the BSB concert once i get them from my seniors! =D

As promised in the previous post, I'll be back so here I am and unfortunately, I haven't got as much pictures as I intended to post up...but here are just a few to keep you guys entertained! so what i been up to? hmm more birthday surprises (some not so successful =s), netball practices, and just last minute studying for end of module tests which are such a pain! urghhh...oh yeah not to mention all the packing i had to do! remind me to never again apply for accomodations which require you to pack up at the end of every term! other than that...ive been enjoying my easter hols so far =D my mum came to the uk and we went to pareeee for a few days and now im back home in the sunnyland of brunei!

paris was fantabulous and the shopping was awesome!!! but the weather was horrible actualli the weather in the UK is even worst! its suppose to be in the middle of spring oredi but its still so friggin cold..heck its colder than it was in december!

anyways....pictures here...haha in no particular order...

surprising din (ex-jis senior) with a humongo birthday card. This surprise didn't turn out as expected..hahah i mean firstly, we surprised him with the card but the second time we decided to go and get a cake for him but this time when we tried to surprise him, he wasnt in his room...so we waited and waited til we were like laying on the carpet outside about to give up when he surprised us from the toilet! hahah our plan back-fired! grrr....

this was in the morning of bruleicester games while waiting at the bus stop in coventry...
the team with our forest green jerseys and psychadellic font writing...(altough you can't exactly see it) haha...our captain was trying to get a environment-friendly message across hence the colour of our jerseys!
with nicolet!!! this gurl ahhh...haish..flying off to perth tomoro! when u getting back? remember that date we said we gonna have yeah ;) hahaha

pearl milk tea in our very own campus! hahah once in a year thing...very amazed we were!
for the past few gatherings we had, we've been playing the concentration games! do you guys remember it? the one miss atkin taught us? *concentration now begins* *stick to the rythm* *1,2* remember remember?
zim, me and both my seniors doing what we do best! hahha btw...thats my kitchen next year! hahha as if so interesting like that hoh? just thought i'd let you guys know...
the other surprise party we had...the birthday girl is the one with the back facing towards us (white/grey hoody)...this time our plan back-fired too! hahah she too...was in the toilet when we were knocking on her door and so she surprised us instead...oh wells, at least we tried
our famous burnt garlic baguette! hahahha we underestimated the oven power and see what happened? we were so frantic when there was smoke coming out of the oven and this was in the middle of the night again and we didn't want to set off the smoke alarm! hahah my friends and i were like running around the kitchen like little bunnies....haish...but all fun! =D

hmm...thats about it i guess...oh WAIT!!! there was a bomb scare!!! yup, you read that right...bomb scare! at that time zim and i was in birmingham and was about to get back to coventry...gosh...the city centre was closed and the jam was crazy! apparently some construction workers found the bomb while they were excavating a site for a new building. it was a world war 2 bomb that hasnt gone off so yea..500m radius from where the bomb was found was closed off...which caused the traffic to be crazy! a 15 minute bus-ride back to campus took 70 minutes! haha but all is well...they said the bomb is inactive and wont explode *phew*hmmm

OH...and after reading wat slin posted about a guy comitting suicide or something...that happened at my uni too! happened either last year or 2 years ago. from what i heard, that person was doing economics and couldnt stand the pressure of the course so decided to hang emself in their room..imagine the cleaners opening the room and finding that! =S

hmm what else ahh? i think thats about it...this post should be long enough for now...when i do upload the pics from paris..i shall blog again!

but for now, til here...off to bed...must try and get use to Brunei time again...laters

HEY Y'ALL!!
this blog is kinda dying again..haha..so i'll post something up!its been awhile!
well where shud i start??
uni??hmmm....been pretty hectic yesterday n today!!n i got a little high again due to lack of sleep!!haha..jis memories...first assignment of the semester due in today so been rendering til 5am n only had an hour sleep!my head is still spinning rite now!n today we're meant to present our renderings to the class...but everything kinda went over schedule...our studio coord n her assistant just took way too long to comment on each students work!n studio suppose to end at 3:30 but theres still about 6people who still needs to present inc me but some people needed to work n all so most of the class left!WOOHOO!haha..so the 6people ony had to present to the coords!but i was still shit nervous!!my voice was shaking!i just gav a short speechthen they started analysing my renderings!overall..i did pretty good BUT! they said i didnt understand my building's plan well enuf!i hope i wont lose too many marks for that!i frickin hate presenting!but its kinda inevitable in archi!

WOO!the other night me n my sis were sleeping so peacefully n suddenly awoken by loudass thumping noise at i rmb specifically 1:51am!n two guys swearing at each other...n we can feel the ground shake like some kind of vibration thru the ground..n guess wat??two guys above our unit were jumping down from their balcony onto our lawn!!!like wat the heck?!n jumping outside to the road side n attempting to climb back up onto their balcony!n this is not the first time!!our hausmate told us she saw some guy jump down from above in the morning another day!like wat r they thinking?do they wana get themselves killed or break some bones!?
n WOO!!my fren just told me that someone suicided from the UWAs bell tower!!u noe the big clock?must b one majorly stressed student!!yikes

ive got alot more to say...but not that interesting...
n im too tired to type today..haha...i think i need to get some rest..eventho i wasnt deprived of sleep for two days like nic!kasien...everyones like stressed already...n its only week3!and a number of students already dropped out!but not from too much work...most of them end up not liking it!n some transfer to curtin saying that UWA was too theoritical?!
n some thot that the assignments set for one of the units were irrelevant!must b because of that crazy female lecturer!shes german!haha..but we got a really cool lecturer for the history of art!hes got like greyish 60s? rocker type hair!wears black leather jacket n pants with a big metal belt buckle and cowboy shoes every single day!!haha..hes funny n makes history more interesting!no pic of him yet!

barcelona was amazing.. never been anywhere like it! the architecture was so different from anything in brunei or cardiff and it was sunny!! and warmish!!

we had to be there for five days as part of the study tour but we extended it so that we were there for 10 days :D wahaha. we stayed in a youth hostel called New York Hostel.. although it wasn't in NY..it was in barcelona.. haha. it was pretty alright, good value for money at 15 euros a night! our days were insanely long, most days started at about 9.30 and finished at about 8pm, each day we'd walk about till my feet felt like dropping off sketching things and trying to analyse and understand the architecture and urban design of different parts of barcelona. we got nights off though which we spent eating :) shopping was realy good in barcelona as well i got 4 diff tops for under 6 poudns babeh!!! :D hmm what else..i think i'll just put some pics up now :D

ok....so the post continues...and this time it begins with M'nite (Warwick Malaysian Night)...we've practiced for 2 months and it was finally over! phew....i think we did pretty well though...although it can be a brag to go to practices every night when we have other commitments, I kinda miss it. so then cny came along and as you all know, I flew to Dubai to meet up with my family! Although the trip was very very short...it was worth it! I'm quite proud of me self too...it was my first time flying from an airport which I've never flown from and I was also flying on an airline which I've never sat on before! I think I'm becoming independant! hahahhaha So yea, I flew from Birmingham International Airport and took Emirates Flight..it was quite cool actually...very nice! the flight there was quite empty so I had a ful row of seats where I could stretch out on!

I then got back to the Uk on saturday night and this time I got a warning by the officers for "smuggling" in food products into the UK =s just my luck huh? I knew I was gonna get caught when I saw the officers with the dog! Haish...so then I had to open my luggage and take out the ba gua my daddy gave me! I should've stayed eaten it there in the airport hoh? hahha and not let it go to waste...then leh they took my milk powder and what's worst is that they CONFISCATED my MILO!!!!! how could they ryt? they sed the second main ingredient in milo is milk and it is illegal to bring in milk products into the UK....stupid lah....so now my name is in the government database as told by the officer and saying that if i ever try to bring in these again, I will be charged :s so i left the airport with a bunch of leaflets telling me wat I can and cannot bring into the UK from other countrie....haishhhh oh wells, my dad sed its ok...cny must give things away...so give loh..take lah! hahaha

so then on sunday night I had a Singapore Society CNY dinner in Birmingham which was fun!

The following Monday, I had a 20% assessed group presentation which went alright, and then to celebrate the ending of the presentation, I went over to my senior's place for a sleepover and to surprise another senior....
oh yeah...another pic of me and my so-called twin...hahah seriously ppl ask if were twins or not...and when we say no..they ask if we're sisters....do we realli look alike??? let me know what you guys think! hahaha
oh yeah before i forget...I want to say thank you very very muchies to vonnoes for the birthday post earlier this year! thanks alot...and I'm sorry it took me so long to say thanks! but i really appreciate it tho....

Sorry for the very very very long hiatsu...but I'm back! And this time I'm back with a lot to post about...starting with my BIRTHDAY!!! hahha 'perasan', i might hear you all say...but but..i have to blog about it cos cos it was my first birtday ever away from home! I was actually feeling quite sad and depressed cos I was away from home and I really wanted to be back in my comfortable home and being pampered! =D am i manja? you can say so i guess but i dont care! hahaha

so yeah...for the whole month of january, we've been having dikir barat practices every night from 8:00-11:00 pm for the warwick malaysian night. did you know that warwick is known to be the best in dikir barat in the whole of UK?!?! well yup, we absolutely dupelupsy are!!!! and so...after one of the practices, my seniors and a couple of my frens surprised me for me birthday! very touched, I was! I felt very very loved and was super super glad that I've found friends who I can rely on in uni and who've got my back! I love them all lots lots! I was surprised with a cupcake with an unlit candle! hahah because of the fear of setting the smoke alarm off and I got a bouquet of flowers! and cards and presents and and so much love! *-*

Okayyyy....my post about my lecturer yesterday was quite harsh, and i'm sorry mr. lecturer! =D
...i feel quite sorry for him actually =( i mean he tries his best to teach us and all we do is make fun of him. I realised I felt sorry for him when this hapened...

lecturer: (fiddling around) hmm...i think i should just pin the mic here, that way i'll be able to use both my hands to draw the graph
audience: (starts giggling)
lecturer: (pins the mic)
audience: (starts clapping)
lecturer: (looks astonished at the group of students clapping) what? why? (then he thinks to himself) ahhh....well you see the reason why i don't like pinning the mic onto my attire is because i dont like talking downwards you see(exagerratingly faces down towards the mic) ...so thats why i like holding the mic in my hands
audience: (continuous laughter and you can hear them whispering "that's cos he pins the mic so low! he's suppose to pin it onto his collar! not down at his waist"

so yea...from today onwards, i'm gonna try and be nice to him, i'll try to accept him for the way he is and not make fun of him anymore. =D

3 lectures today with 3 hours break in between them! usually...ppl would complain about the 3 hour breaks but personally, i think its beneficial for me! it makes me switch on my working mode and actually get some work done!

oh..today's 5 oclock lecture was totally hmmm how do you say this...different???
HAHAHHAHHA the lecturer is so weirdddd...half the time, no one is listening and he just walks around the front of the hall while holding the mic in between his fingers. He's supposed to pin it onto his top..but instead he holds it and so it makes noises whenever he fiddles around...and TRUST ME...he fiddles around A LOT! okayy...that may not be weird...but this is DEFINITELY weird! He never looks out into the audience when he speaks but instead stare at empty spaces! Whenever he looks out to the front though, he closes his eyes...hahah he's so funnyyy....i couldn't stop laughing and it reminded me of how back in JIS...where u just have those funny moments and u can't keep the laughter and have to burst it out when we're in assembly or in class? Yup...i went through that whole period again! i wasn't able to keep it in so i just burst out laughing and the people next to me just looked at me...hahaha ok...wen i meant burst out laughing...i din mean literally burst out HA-HA-HA! its those laughs where u try to keep it in by sealing ur mouth bt u still make those sounds? ahhah nvm...i don't know what im rattling on about...anyways...its one of those times where ur suppose to be serious but ur not? and when ur fren is trying to keep their laughter in and u look at them, it makes u wanna laugh too? hahah yup...that's the feeling! =D

I'm feeling happy today cos i finished my essay for tomorrow!!! WEHHHHHEHEEEEE WOOHOOOOO

While filling in my day-to-day activities in my panda book (got it from Nicole as a present) last night , it surprised me that just a week ago was new year's and I was with the whole family celebrating...it's so hard to accept that, that was only a week ago and now I'm back here in my room all alone, alone again...

Going back for the Christmas holiday was fun but wayyy wayyy too short....time went by way to0 quickly and now I miss home. I think going back home made it harder for us to leave it again, nevertheless, I would go home anytime, no matter how hard it is for me to leave it at the end, I'd do anything to be back home again...

It's now 5:52 in the morning and I've been up 30 minutes ago. Everytime I go to sleep, I hoped that I when I wake up, I would be at home on my bed with my sibblings in the same room as me. I used to complain that I am now old enough to have my own room at home and that sharing a room was childish, but I don't care...I like having my siblings there...they make it much more better! Oh , how I miss them...

Now, that this hope of hoping to wake up at home has failed me for the first term and the first two nights in term 2, I guess I should really stop hoping.

30 more days til I see the family again....I pray that this will come by very very quickly...

yess..im coughing again!!
Man…I forgot what the weather was like back in Brunei!!i couldn’t sleep today!!it was raining like CRAZYYYYY!!!so heavy!at around 2am-ish..it got worse n I could see the extremely bright lightning thru my closed eyelids n the thunders were frickin louddd!O-Oit was so hard to sleep..n I became so annoyed n bored that I actually started counting the time difference between each lightning n thunder in my head!!n the thunders must come from very far away cos must of them took around 8-10seconds and some even took around 15-20seconds!!!But anyway at least its not really cold like in Taiwan!i was freezing..n its ony 10-12degreesC..i cant imagine how u people in UK feel!!BBbbrrrrr…but I wish I could go to the UK for a visit!!=( but yea..Taiwan was funnnn…especially the countdown!!=Dbut the streets were PACKED!ive never seen so many people in my life before!!haha…we were at the countdown concert at first n that area accounted for around 650,000 people!!n this is not counting the people on the streets!!the roads were all closed n wat do the people do?!thousandssssss of people just sat on the roads like how u wud do so at a picnic facing Taipei 101 waiting for the fireworks wen the clock strikes 12!it was a nightmare trying to get thru the crowds on the streets!!we had to like lock arms n work thru the crowd!it was quite funny!!haha..but a fun experience!!

AND every single toilet line is superrr longg!!n they actually had those how do I say this…’van toilets’?haha..its like those portable toilets but this is in a van-ish caravan thingy!but yea..its sooo disgusting!the pee smell is sooo damn strong outside!imagine hundreds of people using the same toilet bowls without a FLUSH!!hundreds of people’s excretion just piling up in the bowl!!!yuckkkk!so I decided to go to the nearby shopping centre’s toilet which was wayyy better n clean but super long line again!then me n my two bros shopped for snacks for the night..wanted Mcdonalds but OMG!!the linee soooooo long!the end of the line was like wayyyyyy outside of the shop!same goes for every other shop!this ice cream shop even tho its freezing outside,7-eleven stall, starbucks which I wanted sooo bad cos I so needed to warm my body!so decided to go back to our ‘camping area’ on the road next to the countdown concert..at least got music to keep us entertained eventho cant really see the celebs singing..but getting back was wayyy harder cos theresx even moreeee people now…it was quite scary..we keep holding on to each others shirts!u could get lost sooo easily! Eventually we made it back..n ony about one n a half hour left till 2008!we just sat there talking n eating n listening to the music!my ass hurtzz!then it was finally countdown time… from the 8th second taipei101 lit up from the first level and slowly make its way up to the highest level..3…2…1…n BIG n BRIGHTASS fireworks shot up into the sky!!!!!it was amazing!!sooo pretty!!n luckily we went this year cos its apparently the last year Taipei is gonna do this cos its costing them a hell load of money!!

then the worse is yet to come!!we had to go back to our hotel by train so we had to walk quite a distance to reach the train station…once we reached there..OoO!!the line was way out of the subway!!we had to queue in line for more than 2 hours until we finally made it inside..then we still had to line up for the train to come..but most of the trains were already full from the previous station..but then!!!finally..an EMPTY train arrived n everyone just clapped n cheered!!it was funny!!haha..but we din even mek it into tht had to yet again wait for the next one…n finally reached the hotel at 3 something!but the whole night was well worth the wait!

Other than experiencing their new year countdown..we went on those BIG ferris wheels that are mighty HIGH!!it was scarier than we tot!!n we were all excited at first until it started reaching the highest point it just became frightening!haha..cos theres always that fear that something might go wrong with it n the capsule ur in might fall or sumthing!!then there was creaking sounds n the capsule moved cos of the wind!!my mom closed her eyes the whole way thru!!haha..none of us dare to move but we keep laughing about the whole situation n shaking the capsule…my eldest sis kept scolding us cos she was so frickin scared already!!haha..ohmy…my post is getting too long again!

hmm...from wat i can remember...im on campus... the current year 13's in jis now came to visit my uni as an open day thing to get a feel on how its like to study here...then all of a sudden it got really hectic and i was in a rush to get away and it was all crowded then suddenly someone got hold of my arm! i turned round and there she was! ahhaha with that face we all know so well! =p hehehe and so i just smiled at her and said hi...n she was still holding on to me...den she started asking about me n how i was and wat was i doing and where...so i told her im studying accounting n finance at th uni of warwick and dat im in a rush and so cant stay to chat...but she wouldnt let go off me! hahaha i dunno...den after dat it was lyk me trying to escape from her by forcing my way through the crowd! hmm..and i think that was it? im not so sure..its very blur in my mind right now! hehehe

Pheeewwwww *wipes sweat off forehead and letting out a big sigh* this week has been filled with birthdays! surprise birthdays! hehehe twas fun! loadsa fun! yesterday we surprised kamilla and that turned out realli well since she didn't expect a thing and was totally surprised...and i mean TOTALLY! hahha but we got informed by the security guard of the learning grid (the 24 hour place where everyone goes to do their work and study) to move on and not to have a gathering there! ahhaha owh wells, made it more memorable tho! hahah we had a huge princess helium balloon that when it gets tapped, it start saying "congratulations, today is you princess day and it starts singing happy birthday" heheh so cool...

and then..kamilla and azimah came over to my place for a sleepover to surprise another friend of ours at 12 midnight. hahah this didnt turn out that well in terms of keeping it a surprise! ahhah but all in all it was fun from making up an excuse to visit that friend..and trying to stay hidden wif the huge ass princess balloon dat kamilla thot she'd share and another birthday helium balloon, trying not to set off the fire alarm with the lit candles! hahaha it was crazy but FUN! this tym we got told off by the resident tutor cos we were too noisy! hahah den everyone made their way to my room and continued to chit-chat!

and then just now...we had a surprise party for yung hui! yup, that's right, ming-ding-a-ling's sister! heheh n we succeeded in that too! muahahhaha we're getting good at all this! maybe i shud just quit uni and start being a party planner! hahah the connie lau show! hahaha no lah...hmmm wat else ah?

OH ive found a house to stay in for my second year! hahah cos...for second year students, we can't live on campus so we gotta look for houses already and start signing contracts in january but mine is all sorted =D no need to worry anymore...

and another thing...we (my seniors and all of us juniors) had just set up a bruneian society in our uni! we founded this society and are proud of it! weeheee...so monday we gonna have elections for the committee members!

hmm...wat else ah? i think thats about it...oh n i think im gonna go shopping by mysekf tomoro after lectures at 11:00 hahha spend my tym wonderin around the shops to get stuff for the family BECAUSE im going back to BRUNEI in 2 weeks ish! but before that ill be in london to watch a musical called WICKED! wahhaha can't wait...but now...im off to bed! 9 oclock lecture tomoro which i not cannot but shouldn't miss! teehehehehe.

con, i'm really glad that you are being honest with your feelings and not keeping it inside. i'm pretty sure all of us are having a hard time. i cried every day during my first week. and in my 2nd and 3rd week i still cried. even now when i talk to my parents i cry when i hear their voices, because i just miss them so much. i dont really know what to say, except that you're not alone...and you can't be expected to love your life here in the UK straightaway - it takes time to start this new phase of your life... i just think its really important to be positive and to keep things in perspective. like when i first got here i was just bloody miserable and regretted coming to cardiff and wasnt even sure about architecture but then things just got better. they always do. things will get better con. just try to think positive thoughts...like maybe you should take this opportunity to learn more about british people and culture? and i know it sounds kinda dumb but like at least you have money, you have somewhere to live, you can walk, you can see...whereas there are so many people in the world that don't have anything, that are blind etc..i dunno, it helps me..

okayyy...most of u is probably not gona b interested in this certain blog abt Leehom..hehe..but im just gona talk abt it anyways!!n give u guys pictures to enjoy!!sooo...he finally decided to come to KL to promote his album n sooo i just HAD to go or else no more chance lah..its off to uni next year!!anywayss...so on Nov9th i made my way to sungei wang which is always so PACKED that its not even fun to shop there anymore!!i dont know y..but i just dont reli like goin there for shopping..but because of Leehom..need i say more..haha..but yea...so the event starts at 8pm but they said they're gna open the gates at 6:30pm n so for the sake of seeing him closely..i decided to go up to the place whr its held at 3:00pm to check on how long the line is..n turns out!!its pretty damn longgg oredi!!SO!!yep..i started lining up!!then at abt 4pm?my phone rang..n LENs here with stella n her bro n her roomate Lauren rite??i hope i got it rite!!hehe..so i had to go get her n left my bro alone to keep my place in the queue.btw i dragged him to pei me watch..hehe..n he kinda hates LM!!muahahhaha...he keep goin on..this is sooo not worth it this is sooo not worth it!!n kept complaining tht his back is breakin!!hehehe...SO WAS MINE!!!anyways..after i chat to len for abit she n her gang had to go eat cos they rushed from school n its hoursss before the event starts!!so i went back into the queue..n my bro's like i tot u gna bail on me!!hahaha..hes like i dont even like LM n you gna leave me alone in the queue with my breakin spinal cord!!!hahaha...btw..the organiser of the event sucks man..its so messed up..like the way they divided up the area..cos there was special zone n normal zone!!haha..but watever..so at 6:45pm they finally opened the gates to let us in!!!but before tht..the fanclub had the privilege to be let in first...it was CRAZZZYYYY!!!!i swear!!!i never seen such a BIGASS fanclub!!!they filled up like practically half of the middle area!!!there were loadssss of them!!!

btw..i think this is gonna b a veryyyy long post!!so then we were in the event area rite...whr the stinky-ness of sweats starts to fill up the air!!!cos everyone is like squeezed into the space trying to get as close as they can to the stage..n the atmosphere around is just humid..moist..n just unpleasant!!i literally had to tiptoe so i can get some fresh air!!!hahaha..so once we got in..we had to wait another hour n a half cos it starts at 8pm..in between that time..because the air was just too damn blegh that this person actually fainted!!!!!i was just standing there n suddenly i heard this *plop* sound from behind..n wen i turned around i just saw these ppl screaming for the security for help n fanning at the persons face!!i was quite shocked!!haha...then after 45mins or so..another person fainted!!!one of the fanclub member!!that is how bad the atmosphere was!!n so kasien lah..Leehom din evn appear yet!!anywayss..by 7:50 or so everyone started getting restless n finally the hostttt appeared!!!!but no sign of Lm yet!!n they had some little games to win stuff...THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!dandandandan!!LEEHOM arrived n rush to the stage..n an outburst of AAAAHHHHHHHHHssss filled the air!!!!hahahaha...i was screaming like crazyy too!!!hahaha...AND!!!u noe wat else filled the air!!!ARMPITSSS!!!!hahahha...everyone just lifted their hands with cameras n started snapping awayyyyy!!!!not very nice..but WHO CARES when hes on stageee!!!!haha..it was AWESOME man!!!n damnnnn..he spoke some english and it sounds sooo nice lah..cos hes ABC!!!!hehe..heres some pics of him acting out the characters in one of his video..

What's wrong wif beans and eggs?

I woke up this morning thinking...ok, today is the day when I will be making a start on those essays! More like ...greeaaaatttt.... I have essays to write! arrgh, I hate that feeling.

Now it's 10:04 p.m. and I haven't made a start on those bloody essays! Why? I hear you ask? i myself don't friggin know! And now its 10:48 p.m. and I'm still here trying to blog!

So today was rather an unproductive day. I did manage to complete some of my seminar work and all and was really concentrating on it...trying to put in my best until my phone rang. Guess who it was? It was my family. I told them not to call me because it makes it harder for me! Everytime they call, it just makes me want to go home more and more. So being quite annoyed, I answered the phone and it was my dad. He was just checking up on me and and asking how I was and everything...then he passed the phone to my little brother. Gosh...dat made it worst...I almost started crying already...I couldn't take it..but then i managed to continue on talking with my little brother until he passed it back to my dad. At that point, I couldn't take it anymore so when my dad asked if I wanted to talk to my mum, I was just saying, no, no need, I need to do my work...but...NOPE, the next thing I knew, my mum was on the phone. At that point, I just burst out in tears but still trying to hide it from my mum. My mum knew I had the flu and all so she assumed that I still had it and haven't recovered. She was telling me to go visit the doctor since it sounded really bad cos i couldn't talk properly..then again it was cos I was sniffing and crying really hard.

I told myself that I had to be strong and put up with it for 4 more weeks! But all along, there was this bugging feeling that seemed to follow me wherever I went. I then started thinking of how I could get back to Brunei earlier...thinking that it wouldn't hurt to miss lectures and classes for one week right? I know I shouldn't do this! And then I remembered my dad telling me before I left to uni that if I didn't like it here, I can always go back to Brunei. But if I do that, what will people think of me? What am I suppose to do when I get back to Brunei? I can'r just go on living like how I did during the summer, can I?

So then, I decided to focus on my course and thought about the optional modules for next year since all modules for this year are fixed. When looking at the list of modules...it made me wonder what I was doing? I didn't like what I was saw. I'm thinking, will I be able to put up with this for three years? I guess I have to huh?

Maybe this is just a phase I'm going through...I'm hoping it is and I'm hoping that I'll be able to snap out of it, snap out of it soon and wake up to face reality...but what if this IS reality? Please help me...am i depressed? No, I don't think so...actually, I don't know anything anymore. I'm just so lost. Lost in the place I don't call home. Lost in a different lifestlye. Lost in a new culture.

I was cooking dinner just now and was cooking string beans with eggs. My kitchen mates have never heard or seen of a dish like that before and so gave me looks that portrayed digust and I felt looked down on. I explained to them that it was common to have this dish back home but they still seem to think it's wrong! One of them even gave a face and thought I wasn't looking...but guess what? I saw your face!

Aarghhh...I know I shouldn't let such a small thing get to me but I guess this just shows how different I am to all of them. It's the little little things that build up that keeps reminding me of how I am different. I feel so out of place here.

Someone come save me and bring me back to Brunei! I'm not ready for university life and I don't know when I will be...

hey girlies,
hope you all are well. things are finally settling down and i am getting into the swing of things, phew. was quite stressed before about money and everything, wasn't used to having to pay every time i need to print or photocopy something, and also not having paper!! so used to just filling my art folder full of paper every time we start a new art project..haha right slin?? :) .so yeah. wasn't too happy. but now i've accepted that i have to pay for things like that now and although i feel bad about spending money i just try to use it as incentive to work harder so that i haven't wasted a sheet of paper on a lousy drawing or something. finally my room now feels like home, and although i miss my family i am crying much less these days... but having said that my course is pretty bloody hard, so frustrating at times i just wanna cry or shoot someone or both. but im coping! i'll post pics of my models and studio and stuff next time, they're still in my camera. oo i was sposed to post pics of my room hoh? keep forgetting to take pics.

what's been up lately?? hrm hrm oh yeah halloween haha i went as a mummy to my friend ju's little party, wrapped myself in toilet paper with the help of my housemate soph. i had to walk to the party which was 30 mins away and by the time i got there id fallen apart...haha oh well. we didnt do much, just cooked dinner and then watched a silly old movie called bride of the monster which made us laugh cuz of the REALLY bad special effects and cheesy lines. then some of my friends went to clubs and things but i went home cuz i was sleepy. haha it was so bad that it was good. if that makes sense. yesterday went to a pub quiz with my coursemates and got asked the most random questions like What does scuba stand for? ( I got that right :D) and James is five, Henry is three, who is one??? Turns out its Thomas cuz its the numbers of the trains in Thomas the Tank Engine. we didnt win the quiz, it was too hard, they asked us all these rugby questions :( oohhh OMYGOD today when i changed my shirt for netball there was a SILVERFISH on it when i pulled it out the wardrobe!!!!!!!! i was so disgusted!! :'( yuck!! i hate silverfish!! :'( i didnt take that pic btw, got it off wikipedia just to show how gross they are. i just cleaned out my whole wardrobe even though it was late and hoovered and stuff. bleargh. i didnt see anymore so hopefully there was only one (which i chucked out the window). what else? OH YEAH MAN I WON A 50pound TOPSHOP VOUCHER!!!!!!!! WOOOOO!!!!!! :D:D:D:D I entered a competition in the university newspaper...The question was 'Why is Topshop so good for students?' and I said:

haha. so exciting. I can't wait to buy new stufffffff!! I've not bought anything that I want, only spending money on things I need...so it would be nice to treat myself for a change...what else...ooh yeah went to watch the Arsenal v Liverpool match last Satday ( or was it Sunday?) with Soph and Flav in the pub and I knocked over this guy's drink :S cuz I had my schoolbag on and was trying to move out the way of the waiter guy and my bag toppled his drink over onto the pooltable. i was so embarassed... :( i didnt have any money to pay the guy and Soph and Flav weren't there yet so I said I would pay him when my friends got there...but after that I couldn't find him! Oh well. the match was so exciting!!!!!! I kept squealing. We were sat next to these super aggressive Arsenal fans though so we couldn't really celebrate when Arsenal players got yellowcarded and stuff cuz we didn't wanna get beaten up. haha no seriously they were scary, like they yelled and swore ALOT.
okie dokie better go to sleep - it's almost 2am! can't sleep for some reason!!

ANYHOO! my coursemates decided to throw me a party, the theme was Y/K so basically you had to come dressed as something starting with the letter Y or the letter K! we all headed down to a pub to watch the rugby (england lost, which was was SAD and bloody STUPID) and then we went back to my friend's halls to play drinking games hahahahahhaha it was really fun :) anyway! i went as a Kitten! made the ears myself thank you!Sophie went as a Yank! Roccio(far left) didn't know what to wear..booOoring Josh came as Yoda!Edith came as KitKat!MyHoa, Shin, Ayaka and Alex as Killers - nice stupid look on my face
Aaron came as nothing - sheesh!Marie came as a kitten as well! Stealing my thunder! hehe. My tail is a belt :)
Stefan came as Yakult!Ju came as Ketchup!John wore Y-Fronts!Us at the end of the party - alot of people had left though!My YK Cake - I'd no idea they made this :'( sniff. And my badge says 18 today!Me after my dare in one of the rounds of Truth or Dare. Had to shout 'I'm having a baby' 5 times out of the window when someone passed by!!! oh dear!! I was a bit tipsy or else I'd never have done it! Ah well you only turn 18 once. we played such funny drinking games, i can't wait to teach you guys hahahahaha :D
there were loads of very risque dares like humping ironing boards and guys kissing guys (through a mask) and John stripping to his Y-fronts..haha dearie me.Alex had a bit too much to drink and we took advantage of this hHAHAHAhahaha so bad 0=)
I was so touched by everything my friends did, blowing balloons, buying food and drink, oh gosh alcohol is not cheap at all...making my cake... buying me pressies and cards..putting so much effort into dressing up..i almost cried :'( i wasn't going to do anything cuz it wud be too expensive to celebrate but they decided to throw me a party.
I only got to sleep at 5 and then had to wake up at 10 the next day cuz my parents rang me...golly...but oh well! then i had to go and get Ning and her bf Matt from the bus station after having only 5 hours of sleep!! but it was worth it! haha. My sister treated me to lunch at Wetherspoon, i had lamb shanks in cranberry and rosemary sauce and creamy mash with british vegetables, YUM YUM! then i had chocolate fudge cake! if you're keeping count, that's 2 chocolate cakes in a day!! Matt and Tintin his new best friend (he loves Tintin)Ning + me! I'm taller than her in real life, I dont know why I look shorter than her here, grr.
And then after that I had another chocolate cake cuz Sophie my housemate baked me one - so that's THREE choccy cakes in a day!! and i had choc cupcakes from my other housemate too, what a fatty! hahaha.

last week we went to st fagans, an open air museum which has traditional architecture from all over Wales haha we shoved Alex in a ditch cuz he's too tall for his own good

HI ALL OF YOU! so glad that dis blog is starting to get active agen! hehehehhe...well hmm...im in my second week of uni and i can tell you that the work is starting to pile up, n piling up high.

our seniors r saying ders no need to work so hard in da first year and everyfin bt i dunno, ders dis urge in me to work realli realli hard, den agen...i can get distracted so easily...especially with the internet

its so hard to not go on msn, facebook, blogspot cos a lot of my lecture notes and messages are posted on the internet so i have to go on the internet to access them and hence, i go do other things n i can spend AGGEEEEESSSSSS lukin thru i hav no idea wat! ahahha

well, hari raya is tomorrow so SELAMAT HARI RAYA to all of u muslim readers!!!

ill be going down to london this weekend and staying over at yen's place...and next weekend, i am going on a shopping trip to cheshire oaks, a designer factory outlet store, with the singaporean society so m gonna shop shop shop!!! hahaha and then its cindy's themed birthday and then m gonna sleep over at their place...den the following weekend, i tink im off to guildford to meet up wif bear and lim...and den itll be aziz's birthday, hopefully dey plan to make it haloween themed and then we'll be able to go trick or treating!!! hahhaha and den in the first weekend of november, the bruneian society frm loughborough uni will be cumin dwn to my uni to visit and we'll be playing a friendly netball macth against dem n show dem round coventry.

seems quite busy huh? ders so mani things happening here and der dat i actualli dunt hav much tym to think about home apart from a few now and thens...bt bt by da tym all da busy-ness goes away, ill be back in brunei already!!! =D WOOHOO!!!

For me to blog or else someone keep complaining!!(*cough*con!*cough*)..hehe..but first things first!i didn’t think BBC was the bbc news thingy..hahaha..i actually didn’t even know theres such a thing as this ‘BBC’ saying/proverb whatever u call it to describe british born Chinese until I heard Lms song but evn then I didn’t know what it is till con said it!haha..I’ve always just thought that they call all them angmoh-chinesey people ABCs!!damnn..con I think im gonna feel even more dumb when I go uni!!

Anywayss..the time is getting closer for everyone well most ppl to come back!!cant waittt..but then haiyoo..i dunno if im gonna b in Brunei in December tho..mite b in KL or Taiwan..but we’ll see…but cant wait till we can hang out again..its getting more n more boring everyday here…haha..i actually feel like starting uni oredii!haii..but so gonna b stressing!!yesterdayy..all I did was wake up at like 11am!!shower..dry hair..put clothes in the washing machine to wash..well duh!haha..hang n dry the clothes….iron a whole pile of clothes that was washed,dried n left on one side till I got up n bother to iron it!!cos no one else wud iron them!!(btw..my parents in kl..thts yy)hahaha..then no more chores n nothing else to do so I painted my nails!!this time I wanted to try and do French tips once again cos the last time I tried it failed!so horrible!!cos I think the white nail polish I used last time was quite old so its very sticky-ish?but yea..i bought a new one so its more smooth n easy to paint with..n heres the result!!!

I actually put the diamontes(is tht wat theyre called??) on first b4 I tot of doin the French tips so it looks a little weird..BUT!!!my French tips are so much better this time!! haha..but I was still quite shaky..if u look at it closely..its not very even!!haii..can ony post one pic ..my internet SUCKS!

hmm...now let's c...der was sumfin i was spose to blog about but i seem to have forgotten wat it was..hahhaha silly me, actualli i blame it on da gurl who lives in da room next to mine!!! shes so noisy....n she has lyk different different guys goin into her room all da tym.....i can hear her ryt now...wif her oh-so-flirty laugh!!! sheesh...hahahha

so nyways, had my group meeting today at da university house n i guess it went alright? ahhaha bt lyk i seriously feel so stupid ok?! ahhaha well, it started off weni was trying to get into da building! hahah i was lyk pushing n pulling da door n den ony realised dat i had to scan my uni card in order to be able to get in! hahaha den leh...i needed to scan it again to get in to da "learning grid" hahahha...den wen we sat down as a group to discuss wat company we were gonna tok about...i had nufin to say at all to em...i was just silent all da way...i dunno, im not very into working in groups u c...so yk da french dude jus luked at me n asked me "any preferences?" wif a ur-so-dumb luk on his face! hahaha den we went off to do our own research on da comps n met back agen...gosh..i seriously feel so tupid...i mean lyk dey were all so pro at it...n im jus lyk umm, ummm stuttering away =(

ok so well, as u all noe, im now in da uk
n by da uk i mean...freezing, cold, unpredicted weather!!! hahahaha bt im not trying to make uk sound lyk a bad place...cos its actualli not bad...its jus REALLI REALLI far away frm home!!! n hence da big BIG tym difference...it makes it so hard to chat to da ppl at home or contact em.... =(

anyways, i jus wanna make it clear to all of u dat da university of warwick (da uni i am in, in case u guys dunno hahha) is not in warwick! I REPEAT IT IS NOT IN WARWICK, IT IS IN COVENTRY!!! COVENTRY PPL, IN COVENTRY!!! phew, jus thot i'd make it clear to all of u jus in case u guys decide to cum find me?!?!!?! hhahhah i doubt it...sigh....anyways...dis not suppose to be an emo blog!!! hahahha

ok ok, so for da first few days, ive been jet lagged, ive been sleepin at 7 or 8 uk time n been wakin up at 2 or 3 uk tym in da morning! hahaha cannot tahan ler...i jus get realli sleepy bt now not so bad oredi lah...been forcing myself to stay up n get use to brunei tym...bt lyk da since i arrived i had accomodation on campus liao, bt din wana stay alone! hahaha so ive been stayin wif my dad in different hotels until he left me for london on friday T-T so den, i hung around wif jimmy da whole day n went back to his place for dinner wher his housemates cooked curry! hahahah deyr realli nice ppl, one of ems frm india n da othrs a BBC (British born Chinese) hahahha laine....lyk dis oso got hoh?!?! hahahha ABC!!!

on saturday i went to birmingham wif jimmy...gots nufin else to do u c, so we decided to jus jalan in birmingham...bt so bloody crowded man!!! hahahah seriously, until i no mood to shop liao!!! so den leh...at 4 ish went back to coventry wher we met up wif one of da bruneians studyin in warwick so den we ent back to her place for anotha bruneians birthday party! i dragged kamilla n azimah (btw, deyr both in da same uni as me as well =D) to cum along as well...n we had laksa!!! haish...so fun...dey were all so friendly n it made it feel lyk i was back in brunei.... =D i never actualli thot id miss brunei so much...da country dat we oweys complain dat ders nufin to do n its so bloody hot!!! hahahha bt its bloody cold here!!!

n den on sunday...my dadi came back to visit me!!! hehehhehe bt den leh, it was ony for a few hours =( den he left for london agen, dis tym to go back to brunei oredi...so sad lar...wen he sed bai to me...i din wana luk at him...i jus kept on wokin away straight to da bus stop. so den wat did i do ah? hmm....well wen i was at da bus stop...i cudn help my tears frm flowin u c...so lyk der was a group of china ppl der as well...n dey were tokin bout me!!! sheesh, do i not luk lyk chinese? dey tink i dun understand dem isit? hahah dun care lah

den leh...at nyt i had chinese takeout in da social building wif other frens of jimmy.....i hav to say, da ppl here r realli nice! hehehe

so den, da next day on monday...classes started!!! lecture lecture lectures! today oso lecture...i was put in a group today...my group consists of a french dude hu lived in spore for 12 years, a greek dude n a dude frm london! how very multicultural huh? hahaha well, we had to dis group activity today n guess hus group won?!?! MINE!!! woohooo...hahahhah well we hav to do a presentation on monday bt i feel so dumb within my group...wer meetin up tomolo at 11 to discuss da presentation...pray dat it goes well....

hmm...den we had a social event jus now for all students taking accounting n finance! met a few frens bt bt none of em r as goofy n speshul n loveley as u guys! heheheh

cant wait for tomolo actuali cos i got no lectures no classe watsoever!!! NADA...bt den leh got group meet up! spoiler man!!! haish....den afta dat me n zim r gonna go try out da sport groups n sign up for different societies n den go to nandos for sungkai wif da BRUNEIANS!!! woohoo, shud be fun n den gonna watch a movie after dat!!! yeahay...

u noe u noe, da societies here very different man! hahahhah got society here called "the wine and whiskey appreciation club" and "the cheese and chocolate appreciation club" ahhahahha zim n i r gonna join da cheese n choco one! woohooo...hahhahah gonna be fun hopefully...

oh yeh..got sumfin agen...well u c, ive used da bus several tyms thru n fro from da coventry city centre to da uni campus n so on sat morning i was spose to use da bus to jimmys place u c...bt bt i went on da rong one..hahaha so der i was sittin in da bus for one WHOLE hour goin round n roun leamington, kenliworth etc etc...hahahhah so lyk i got on da bus in da uni campus went roun to leamington, kenliworth n back to uni campus n stayed in der n finalleh reached my destination! hahahah i tink da bus driver knew i was sitin on da bus da whole tym!hahah he jus gave me a werid luk!

HI HI!! hehe. im in london right now with my sisters still, going to cardiff this saturday. its lovely here, well i like it anyway. its not too cold yet, but pretty chilly when the wind blows. but my sisters said its gotten colder since i got here :( they said i brought the cold weather with me. WHAT RUBBISH.

anyway i went to the Tate Modern :) and Trafalgar Square and the Millenium Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral. hehe. OH OH and today i had TEA AND CRUMPETS!! oo-wee! so british! hahaha. well i've had tea everyday actually. its just that i had crumpets today, and i've always wanted to say d'you want some tea and crumpets, dahling? . hahaha. and i swear im alraedy picking up the british accent already. not good. :| i sound quite dumb. sigh. haha.

its been:
three days since my koko's 3rd year anniversary
two days since the end of the chinese ghost month
one day since i found out about my uncle's death

wat else is there huh? cos i realli dunt understand...just wen i thought im finally ok wif acccepting my koko's death, its all happening agen...dis tym wif my uncle.....

im goin thru the whole process agen, n so is da rest of my family...

three days after we lost contact of my brother, we found out he was dead

my brother was found laying on the carpet floor in his room
my uncle was found laying on the bed in a hotel room

both died with no one by their side and with no one knowing wat was going on

i dont believe i have a week left. before i know it i'll be at the airport.

like most people, i do wanna go, but i dont wanna go (except maybe joely who was all about going, going, going). i mean im still a baby! im 17! how am i gonna survive in wales by myself? its full of welsh people! i've known for ages that i'm going to leave next saturday but i've kinda been living and acting like someone else is leaving. been doing my visa and applying for accommodation and doing my medical check-up in a sort of semi-daze and not realising that it's me, ME, that will be getting on a plane and uprooting myself from everything that i hold dear to me.

i've been trying not to think about it, but i've just had a sort of moment of clarity/realisation, and it's more terrifying than exciting. :(

but i guess it's time to be a big girl now, and big girls don't cry.

in his eyes we r "stupid n lazy" n dat we'll never ever succeed in the outside world in da future....as if i hav nufin to wollies about oredi....u think i havent been tinkin bout da future??? u tink im not scared of reality??? all i want is to hav my dad to tok to n tell me dat everyfin will be ok n will fall into place in tym bt instead ur oweys not home!!!! n wen ur home, u jus get angry n shout at us!!! i dunt understand!!! r we not gud enuf for u??? my lil bro even asked me: "jie, y is papa so angry? y is he shoutin at us?" wat do u expect me to tell him huh??? cos i realli dunno wat ur problem is!!!

sumtyms i jus let it go n dunt take da things u say seriously cos i noe ur stress from work n ur jus wollied about us...sumtyms i fight back n try to tell u dat u dunt n cant take everyfin out on us, ur children!!! bt yesterday was da peak of it...u cum home late n wen we actualli had our first proper family sit down dinner after 2 weeks, a few mins into da meal, u start gettin angry at us... at least get angry at us after we had our dinner...

u get angry at me wenever my sibs are naughty n wen dey fight because u sed im da eldest n its my responsibility to teach dem n guide dem...ive TRIED ok?!?! its not my fault u guys r oweys not home!!! for the 18 years, ive been raised by different maids...n i c my freinds and my maids faces more tyms den ive seen urs...

u tell me not to go out so much n dat i shud stay home more often...bt i dunt c da point!!! ders no one at home except for da maids so y shud i stay home???

from da outside...ppl tink were all happi n dat were lucky cos we oweys get to go on holiday bt....u guys dunt noe dat in every holiday trip we go to, der is oweys a fight!!! im off to kl laters wif both my parents for a pre-departure briefing n im tellin u guys dat im not lukin forward to it at all!!! for sure...he'll continue his outrage!!! at least my siblings will be at home so dey wont be tainted wif wat u hav to say. i haven seen or toked to my dad since last nyts dinner...n ive cried my self to sleep so many tyms dat ive lost count...

i try not to be mean towards u because u r my father afterall bt ur making it hard not too...

i'm doing my visa now too...but i'm doing it online..cuz from the 1st of sept it has to be done online. so annoying. :( i just went to do my medical stuff today and i was supposed to collect my 'faeces/stool' but i just didnt have the urge to poop hahaha so i'm leaving it till later. not looking forward to it lemme tell ya -_- the hearing test was so funny! they asked like 5 of us to go into the room and then he was like 'sit down sit down! now what uni you going to? what course u doing?' etc etc and making so much small talk I was thinking 'why is this man so kepo ah?' haha but then in the end after he asked all of us he was like, 'ok that's it! that was the hearing test!' hahaha so funny and un-scientific. i thought we were going to be tested to see like, whether we cud hear this high pitched noise, or this low noise, but no! just small talk. after i did everything that i could do there i still had 2.45 hours until my mum cud pick me up so i read my book for a while then got really bored but then i had a brainwave! i texted lis and we went shopping together and ate at LaMee. the LaMest restaurant, harhar. lis bought quite a bit of stuff and i bought nothing :( im trying not to spend alot cuz going to uni takes up a lot of my parents moolah but it sucks. smanks lis for saving me from boredom :)

on a whole different point, ive been paintballin n i tink im enjoyin it cos of da pain of da shots n da adrenalin rushes we get wen da marshalls countdown till its tym to fire and wen u run to da next bunker hoping to not get shot!!!

da bruises on da other hand are a downside...ive got 7 ish bruises n dey dunt luk too gud...

da first tym i played it, i got shot on da helmet so i din feel da pain...da second tym we went to play we bot two boxes of pellets so we had a whole load of pellets (4000 pellets i tink)to fire away!!! i got shot at my gun in da first round so dat agen din hurt bt after 3 rounds da other 5 rounds was crazy!!! we din manage to finish our pellets tho so we kept dem for next tym so dat means dat we'll be back for more!!!

i told ya da bruises luk disgusting!!! da funny thing dat happened yesterday was dat i got shot at my foot by my own player without him knowing it!!! hahah luckily for my shoe, ders no purple bruise!!!

oh, yesterday i was out wif da ong sistas n kevin. kevin had a meeting to attend to (seriously geez man, kevin so da damn busy) so yeah it was jus us n den we decided to wtch transformers!!! hahaha cos ppl say so nice mah bt den leh so full da cinema, got no seats except for da first row so den we wtched DIE HARD 4.0!!! wah not bad actualli dis movie, its very action packed and a makes-u-tink-wats-gonna-happen-to-da-world-if-we-keep-relyin-on-technology- type movie!!! interesting!!!

ohh, while we were at da mall we saw slins fren, DOMINIC, rememba him? da one wif da twin sister named Sarah? well anyways, he's freaking tall ppl!!

yesterday we were waitin for a certain sumone (ahem ahem a.k.a leno) to msg us after her hair cut bt noooooo, never got her msg!!! haha...wher were u ah gurl? how was ur haircut btw?
